This months card is The High Priest. In other decks he has also been called The Magician, The Magus and The Juggler. Try going into a card for yourself if you have a tarot deck, just surround yourself with white light and then see the card image in front of you and step into the card, asking questions as you explore the card. Notice how you feel in the card, what the temperature is and what you can see - you don't have to remember the card precisely and you may see things in your journey not depicted on the physical card but all is relevant. Just give it a go, next month I plan to send out a more detailed visualisation to help you do this process if you are having trouble with it.
For now here is my journey into the High Priest card from the Sacred Circle deck.......

He is standing upright in a lush field reading a sacred document. I feel he is centered and calm, and concentrating very easily. He is wearing golden robes which seem to be very rich as well as simple, he has the sun as his third eye point and I feel he has a strong sense of who he is, clear and penetrating in his insight into things. There is a sun up in a purple sky which kind of gives it an other worldly appearance. Around the card are flowers, meadow flowers which seem to feel both fragile and beautiful, dancing freely in the breeze - seems to be a feeling of happy freedom going on here, yet grounded in the earth and not getting carried away.
Going into the card.....
The orange flowers say - "We are hear to give of ourselves to the bees they love our nectar. We are good for mental processes in a healing sense, use us well it is our service that we offer you this healing." I feel they might be
calendula but they don't look like marigolds. "We are many petaled flowers that tell of many things that you can do, we have so many different ways of seeing the world depending on our perspective." The sun above is framed by 2 fern
leaves, it is the old sun, the center of your soul, the core of who you are, this is who the High Priest is calling to, the Self within as well as the sun on the outer. The reflection of our true spiritual nature.
"Excuse me kind sir may I talk with you for a while?" I ask the High Priest. "Yes" he replies. "What are you reading?" "I am reading the acaskic records, the spiritual records of all time, everything that is, was and will be is contained here - I wish to learn and learn and learn. I want to know the universe and all that is in it. I honour the natural world both in nature and within us humans. I wish to know how we can best work together and serve the highest potential of all things. I want to create here on earth but I do not wish to destroy what is around me. Sometimes I get so lost in my learning I forget to look up and see what is creating around me all the time. I can be so focus I need to be reminded of the bigger picture. On any topic I can find the answer, though my purpose is not to help you but to learn and grow and make connections to the higher places so that others my learn how to do this for themselves. I am not a teacher but the conduit to knowledge. I wear these robes so that I am both otherworldly and this worldly. The golden colour is the colour of protection and of spirit.
"What do you represent as a card?" - "I can be the man of knowledge, the one with training, the one who connects you to others, consultant type person. I also am a scholar and student in the study sense, create what you want by using knowledge to do it.
He shows me his book and I ask how I would find out something - he said he would take me - what did I want to know? I said I wanted to know about the connection between me and my son. He whispered to the book (Wesley style in Angel :)) and then we both dived into the book.
In front of us was a panoramic screen on which in one direction he showed me some scenes set in Egypt and the connection I had with my son there. The High Priest said to me that this was one of our lives together, this felt right to me, He said‚ "You can feel this life and it feels natural to you yet also somewhat scary that it will be this way again - do not worry - it will not in this lifetime - you have worked through that aspect of this relationship in other times, this lifetime is not for this." Then he showed me another scene where the roles were reversed in Victorian times, I felt this was us working out our different possible ways of relating to each other over various lifetimes. Then we came to the present day and I could see us both flipping back and forth between these roles in a small, yet internally significant way, and we were both working so hard not to repeat the past but to be clearer in our connection together which was still very strong. "
Then I asked "But what of the future, how will we resolve these issues?" and I was shown us in the future. - "You both like to talk and communicate" he said "and this is what will keep you both on the level - he will understand where you are coming from and that you are always developing too and he will be doing the same. Do not fear - this lifetime is one for work but resolution together. Know this and when you view your current time know everything is going to plan and the switching in games and in feelings is all part of healing the history between you and becoming more and more of your selves."
As we come back out of the book I lie down on the grass meadow and look up at the sun allowing its rays of warm light to penetrate and heal me to my core. - I feel my inner self warm and be filled with love. The High Priest goes back to his book and I am allowed my own clear space to receive love from spirit, I feel the tension I have carried with me slip away as I bath in the light.
This ended my visualisation at this time, I kept the High Priest in my mind though and over the following few days had the following thoughts and ideas about him and his meanings.
In contemplating this card and the journey I experienced into it - I feel he is about mental healing and understanding of situations as well as the messenger from spirit. Giving you hints and guidelines to the way for you to go without actually doing it for you. He is a bit wrapped up in himself too in a way - but its like he has a part to play and if it was him alone then things would get learnt about but nothing much actually done with the knowledge, but as he is in connection with cards around him, in a reading he is an aid usually. Also I feel the information he has access to, is all of everything, past, present and future and not necessarily just past life things though that was what was relevant for me on this occasion."
As reversed card - I feel he would be indicating someone not looking at the knowledge they already have or the abilities they already have. Perhaps even being a bit of a perpetual student even. Perhaps not using the available resources, sitting back in the sun too much. I feel the sun part could also represent the self in the upright, knowing thyself, and reversed that this journey needed to be done for the communication to be as powerful as it could in the situation.
I was very grateful of his messages to me, as they helped me a lot. When you go into your cards in this way - be prepared for personal information and help to be brought to your awareness. As we experience the cards then we learn from having 'been there' and then really know how the card talks to people as it has talked to us. You may feel at first it is you answering your own questions, do not worry for even if it was then you are accessing some inner knowledge of yourself and it helps. After a while it will be come clearer the feel or the energy associated with your own thoughts and those that come through this method of inspiration or intuition.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication.
