7 The Chariot
I first look at the card and see the acorns around the edge which seem to suggest strength in its starting form - the seed of something very strong and durable, also the ivy which holds things together. I have a feeling of solidity being present. I look at the charioteer who is a woman with a whip helmet and breast plates but flowing soft clothing apart from that. It is almost like she is not prepared to be nurturing another at this time and is protective of herself in order to be focused on driving the chariot to the destination she has in mind. The horses are black and white and pulling in the same direction.

I walk into the card...
I get the sense of someone wanting to show me the card - guide me before I even step into the card after a thought I decide to accept their guidance. They show me the acorns and ivy and I ask them for their comments.
" We are solid in our strength - allow us the right environment and slowly over time we will form the strongest tree, adapting slowly to our environment only changing when the change is required over time - fleeting changes do not bother us - we are about longevity and the seed starting of any project that is going to be long term. Also about respect for the seed - 'From small acorns large oaks grow' We are happy for ivy to share our space - she is complimentary to our nature, she holds together and is strong - though adapting with greater speed she show the fast changes that occur in life and how living with another's energy is possible in balance. For if she were to kill us all by her over growth she would have no support. Us too if we were allowed to grow unchecked we would overshadow all others - for we each have our strong and weak points. Together we balance each other."
I thank the acorns and ask ivy for her perspective, " I am so opportunistic, I love to see what is here and here and over there, I like to travel and see the world about me and am happy to receive help from others, though I tend not to give back directly its not my nature. I appreciate the support I am given, it is necessary for my wandering attention. What would you have me see for you? I would like to see the nature of what you hide... You indeed want to travel my dear, travel within to the unseen realms - I hold these places secret, I keep hidden others identities and their shells, I may show who I am, but not who it is who supports me, it is part of my mystery. There is always mystery you need not know all the answers merely have the strength to travel the path that you wish, for there are no rules - I teach of freedom of movement, and of easy change as is necessary in life at times. I teach of the need for support from others at times - you can not hold yourself up at all times. Go peacefully and accept what is offered you, my medicine is with you. Blessings my dear.... "
"Thank you " I say "You have shown me a great deal in just being yourself. Thank you for your lessons"
I turn to my guide who nods that I am to carry on and enter the card. " Speak to her not for she is single minded, first speak with the chariot " he says "you have a message for me?" - I ask the chariot " I am a chariot I have my purpose - it is clear - I must travel in the direction I am facing and the direction I am pulled, I have no will of where I shall go I merely go, I am tended by the charioteer that I am able to cross the terrain she wishes - for that I am grateful, I carry her and others to their chosen destination. I serve and I honour whatever wishes are put to me. I am pulled by these horses here and when correctly guided I flow well - if they pull in different ways I am stuck and move not - though it is of no concern to me - I am merely the vehicle in which journeying occurs, take me into battle and into town, it is the same. My message for you is that you need sometimes to allow the charioteer to guide you, do not always be the driver, just know your charioteer and all will be well for you will be where you are meant to be - you have visited us with your guide - it is not coincidence, for he is your charioteer, he is the one who you allow to drive you when you wish to travel and be in the service of another. "

The black and the white horse are neighing impatiently it seems, I talk to them both "Why are you so keen to get going " "We are always waiting, waiting waiting, just let us run and be free, we are held in check while she prepares or stands here to talk with you, why? - well, we know, but still we want to get going, it is the wind that is in our hearts - we want to be running free across the land, over rivers through marshes in fields and in meadows, for it is to run with the wind that we are born to. We are happy to go where we are bidden, but hate the wait before we go." " Do each of you get on?" - We do in the main, when we don't it is because each of us has been given a different instruction from the charioteer, then we fight but it is only as it should be, for she is divided then so shall we be - when she is of a single mind then so are we. We serve in essence her wishes and desires, those of the light and those of the dark when both forces are held together and unified our strength and speed is great indeed."

I then am shown onto the chariot with the charioteer by my guide. As I stand beside her we move off over moor land and marshes, we go like the wind - I can assume that she is of a single mind today for we move swiftly. We enter into a valley and I see a house ahead and I know she is taking me to my destination, my future and my home. I turn to her and thank her for bringing me here as we approach and ask her if she wishes to say anything about herself or the card she lives upon. I am only focused on getting you there - you have prepared now by your conversation and proved your readiness to move on - so we go, we move, swiftly and to the point. Yes in reversed I would be the procrastinator, the indecisive, the one who was never ready to go, but here this is not the case. You know where you wish to be - so go there, be there, put off no longer - do what it takes - put all your effort into making it happen - the time is right, the time is now. This is all I have to say."
I thank her and feel that she is a very powerful woman who isn't about to be softly softly with me - there is no need to be hidden about what she means. I ask my guide, who is still with me, why she would not speak to me till the end. "It is like in all things preparation time is important and your time was spent well getting to know the feel of the area and terrain, then you were ready to journey with her - without this you would have understood nothing of what she had to say" I understand now. I know what I have to do. I thank my guide and feel his love surround me as I walk out of the card and back into myself in this room.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. I now offer ongoing development sessions where we use guided meditations, readings and counselling techniques of various kinds to help you develop yourself from both a spiritual and psychological point of view. This is not psychotherapy though - but a regular support with teaching of skills, to help you move through lifes challenges and develop spiritually and psychologically. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication. Initial Thoth Course We are currently taking bookings for the Initial Thoth course starting on January 2012. It covers the psychological and intuitional approaches to reading with the Thoth. There is a good deal of personal work and students often feel they have transfermed personally a lot through the course's duration, in addition to feeling confident with the Thoth and their increasing intuitive skills.
