12 Sacrifice
As I look at the card, I am drawn to the mist in the background, like you can only see so far into the distance and the rest is obscured from view. The mouse at the side reminds me that we have to take care of the details of where we are at the moment. And that sometimes we can't see the big picture. I am also aware this card is set at autumn, harvest time and it seems to have a connection with abundance and with reaping what has been sown, somehow a feeling that there is nothing much to do to create abundance except knowing when the time is right to harvest, it has already been nurtured and grown and brought to ripeness.

I walk into the card.... I look at the poppies around the edge and feel a relaxing no worries type feeling from them - like opium poppies. I feel this is saying that there is no hurry or stress with anything and it is OK to let go of struggle and relax. Everything will be taken care of. I have an instinctive feel that this is only for a limited time all things are in cycles but that the time is right to take time out. I ask the poppies about themselves. "yes you are right we are to offer ourselves for a short period of time to give a relaxing feeling to those who know us. We also add colour and gentle ness to fields around us, note our colour of passion and vitality. These qualities are in us all and just need to be allowed to be. No pressure no change just be as you are." "Thank you" I say and move on to the mouse....
"Hello mouse do you have a message for me?" " Yes, hold true to yourself, you know what you know and you can't know it all but many things s can be known from looking at what you have in the present and knowing your present really well. Stay with it. Even in difficult situations you will find a way out if you allow yourself to not look too far into the future. " "Thank you mouse."
I walk directly into the card and feel autumn sun on me, the wind blowing through the fields of corn and the smell of the corn around me. It feels very dry and also has a happy feeling. As if everything is as it is supposed to be. I then ask the corn dolly of her significance...
"I am the corn that is given up to make the doll at harvest. I am sacrifice in that I am not used for food, though a small sacrifice, it is my way to protect the future. By saving some of that which you harvest you gain yourself security. By having a symbol that reminds you to have gratitude you will ensure that you do not take your abundance for granted. I am telling of the need to appreciate what you have, perhaps even to share it more fully and allow it to flow through you. If you feel there is not enough to sacrifice even a little you are believing in scarcity and this will make it be so. Believe you will always have enough and then this small symbol will help you make it so. I relate to that good luck omen of putting a coin in a new purse, so you always have money you don't need, something that you can just keep because you know you will never need enough to spend it. Reminding yourself of the abundance of the universe.
"Let go and trust the fruits of your labours, know when to stop working and rest, know when you have nurtured enough and then allow the natural rewards to come to you. It is about trusting that everything will be as it should be and about being grateful about what comes your way - knowing that there is a higher plane of beings working with you to create your life. I will come also at times when the future is totally unclear and you can not see further than a few steps ahead - this is when you are needing to just focus on each step forward and not worry about the outcome - be in the now. Reversed I will show the fears of the future, that the unknown is scary and that you are wanting to 'make' something happen rather than letting go and allowing what has been prepared for to manifest itself. Pushing against the natural flow is also indicated here. Over work for no reason except to avoid fear of being. This is all I have to say. "

I walk out of the card, I liked this card it seemed very to the point and clear for me. It seems about being rather than doing, and trusting that the outcome is right for now whatever our thinking minds may feel.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. Spiritual Development Sessions
I now offer ongoing development sessions where we use guided meditations, readings and counselling techniques of various kinds to help you develop yourself from both a spiritual and psychological point of view. The sessions are very flexible and we can cover what you need in order to gain the most out of your life. Living your life closer and closer to your souls ideal. This is not psychotherapy though - but a regular support with teaching of skills, to help you move through lifes challenges and develop spiritually and psychologically. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication. Initial Thoth Course We are currently taking bookings for the Initial Thoth course starting on January 2012. It covers the psychological and intuitional approaches to reading with the Thoth. There is a good deal of personal work and students often feel they have transfermed personally a lot through the course's duration, in addition to feeling confident with the Thoth and their increasing intuitive skills.
