2 of Wands - Courage
I look at the ace and see its keyword of creativity and think of expression of the self - I see the sun rising on a dry land - like at the end of summer, The wand at the front is sprouting leaves and is circled twice with perfect rings of fire it seems. There is a ring of greener colour just visible at the bottom of the want and a standing stone structure at the back of the card. It seems that from a stillness and barrenness there comes new life.

I look at the card and get the feeling of strength and of the ability to make a decision. Also sense of fertility and power for any ideas formed.
I feel the strong warm summer sun on my face and my feet are barefoot beneath me. The grass feels soft and nurturing. I look at the hill ahead and the figure on it. I approach and ask him who he is and what he represents.
“I am a symbol, a man of power and strength – I am able to take the authority in a situation and make decisions clearly, even if the choices are of similar merit. I am not afraid to choose the way forward. I represent masculinity and all its positive attributes – courage, strength, authority and the power to make changes in the world – I sit here on the hill to remind everyone that they have this within them and that they only need to have the courage to face the situations they are in full on, and they will be able to deal with them effortlessly, and though decisions have to be made, there is only the responsibility of make the choice on what you know. There is always the unknown involved even when you think you can see all the facts – so allowing yourself to use your skills and knowledge to make your path in front of you is all you can do. Beyond that it is up to the spiritual forces to reflect yourself back to you and to help you grow by the opportunities and chances that are placed before you. So make your decision and trust that it is the one that will bring you the greatest knowledge and ultimately love. ”
“Thank you – you are very wise... ” I say.
The tree speaks – “I take the measure of things – I have strong roots and reach for the sky, you have learnt a lot to come this far and you can trust the knowledge you have gained in both this life and previous ones... All is with you now and it is the time for growth and flowering of your knowledge. You can put your plans into action – just make a decision and do. ”
“I am the tree that shows the natural order of things – I am a witness to the power of man – standing by and holding the energy for you to create your reality as you desire in this earthly plane. “Thank you” I say realising that in many ways the whole card is talking to me here and that each element, though having its own energy, is working as a group and collectively giving the card its energy and meaning. I can feel the excitement and energy in the air and the complete possibility of all things working out.
“So if you are reversed?” I ask the whole card feeling that I am addressing the one voice that is coming through all the elements.
“Then the person is holding themselves back through fear of making the wrong choice, they need to run around and throw off the shackles of worry and just make a decision. There are no mistakes only feedback and once the fears are let go of, the energy to do the tasks at hand will come easily. There is also a sense that they are not noticing the signs that are around them about their worth and their ability to stand alone on their own two feet. Telling them to trust in themselves and their vision for the future. The person is worth so much more than they believe at this time – it would be a good time to ask for a pay rise once the fear is let go of. There is a sense in the reversed card that the head is having too much of the time in the decision making process and that the heart and the feet – (practical reality) need to be heard too and so the decision can be made clearer. Let go of worrying thoughts and allow your heart to speak and plans to be made.... each journey begins with the first step... make a start now, the time is right. ”

As you have let go of fear so your energy returns and your ability to do and create all you truly want follows... Trust yourself you have the power and the strength to carry out your plans, both in actions and in non–actions. Your boundaries are better than you expect of yourself. Each side of you is in balance at the moment and this doesn't have to be confusing merely accepted as being as it is – this way you transcend duality and become whole and one with the Source. Integration is about for you, as you stand with each viewpoint at your fingertips, using the one that is right for any moment without denying the other. As you allow this you experience freedom – do not berate yourself for knowing what you know for the knowledge you have gained leads you to greater things. As your awareness has increased things have moved forward – this new plane will be slightly unnerving at first – but have courage and you will see its balance very soon. You have done well my child and will hold the energy for others in times to come. ”

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. I now offer ongoing development sessions where we use guided meditations, readings and counselling techniques of various kinds to help you develop yourself from both a spiritual and psychological point of view. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication.
