Ace of Wands
I look at the ace and see its keyword of creativity and think of expression of the self - I see the sun rising on a dry land - like at the end of summer, The wand at the front is sprouting leaves and is circled twice with perfect rings of fire it seems. There is a ring of greener colour just visible at the bottom of the want and a standing stone structure at the back of the card. It seems that from a stillness and barrenness there comes new life.

I walk into the card...
I see the three circles in the card one of the sun the other at the top of the wand and the third at its base and I hear the phrase the triple burner of the body – I get a sense that this is representing a life force within us the thing that keeps us going at a deep level. I feel this card is talking about energy being incarnated. I walk up to the wand and start to ask it something but feel the bottom circle is asking for my attention. “What is your meaning?” I ask.
“I am the necessity of grounding passion and life energy – I am the way that spiritual energy is made earthly. I am faded here as I have already manifested this wand and it is the start of all. Energy will continue to flow through me as thoughts and ideas are created by those who gain this card, but the initial creative spark has already been manifest. Thank you for listening.”
“Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us” I say
I see the tip of the wand and hear “ I am the focus point the point at which something is actually born to earth. Direct your energy through me and you will create the reality you want” “Thank you.” I say
I move my attention towards the upper parts of the wand and firstly the two concentric rings of fire.
“What is your message for me?” I ask
“We too talk of focusing of energy gradually being more and more precise, what you desire can grow organically start with the essence and gradually get more and more focused as you find the energy to follow your dreams. We help keep you on focus and target to get what you have asked for. We have all potential within us we also make any energy you expend towards a goal more amplified. Focus on the process not the result and the energy will follow, we obscure the growth beneath so you will continue to create, allowing you a little view of what is happening but still maintaining your focus on the process itself. You can not grow the whole tree at once you need to allow the seed to be nurtured. “
“Thank you – that is very insightful and useful for me. ”
I then feel that I go deeper through and ask the single wand itself for its meaning.
“I am your focused energy – you direct your wishes through me to be grounded in action to bring them to fruition. I am a good card to focus on at the beginning of a project as I can help you formulate your plan of action and inspire you to move forward even when the task as a whole seems enormous. I am growing leaves here and tell you that even the things you have let go of and cut back on can sprout again when watered and when the time is right. You can resurrect earlier ideas in new ways at this time. The thought and idea always precedes the action and manifestation and when I show up in a spread I say the time is now – cut away unwanted distractions and allow your energy to flow to your dreams and joy and I will help you bring them to fruition. The dryness of the summer is over – you can now bring new life forth. Confidence and inspiration are abound. ideas are plenty and love of your work increases. ”
“Thank you for your information here – I can see how you really are the magic wand of the deck! ”
I walk further forward and notice the hard dry ground beneath my feet – I look down to it and ask it if it has a message for this card.
“I do – I am the solid structure of your life that the new is based upon. I am the solidness of your character holding you as you reach for the sky. I have grown many things in the past and been a fertile land – I will be this again as you water me with your passion and emotional excitement for the new. I will remain your solid support and will flourish with your renewed enthusiasm. I also represent the release of all the old ways and emotions from the past – they are all gone and the space is clear and here for a brand new beginning. It is like an initiation of fire I am the ashes from which the phoenix rises. It is the start of all that is new. ”
“Thank you – I can see how you are relevant for me currently as I renew my interests in my life. ”
I walk further on and come up to the stone structure. I feel reverence for this structure and slowly approach and touch its sides. “Hello,” I say “Do you have a message for us? – I feel you are different from the other elements of this card”
“I am indeed, I am that which has always been – I am timelessness and the infinite. I stand here having seen so many things come and go I hold the memories of them all – I am representing your ancestral memory and how you can draw upon this by using your creativity. As you allow yourself to express freely with no focus you will find from deep within you arises the answers you seek and the way to begin again. I am the depth of the card in that you need to come to me first before the wand can focus and bring action into your life. As you sink back deeply into yourself without judgment – just witnessing as it is then you find the answers are surprising and also exact. I am the letting go that encourages creativity and also the structure you create around you to allow this letting go to be expressed in – like the limited palette of the artist – the limitations of the musical instrument. It is these limitations that enhance your ability to go straight to the source feeling and inspiration, you are not distracted by the possibilities on the way. I am the unlocking of writers block, I am the stillness needed before the action. Come and sit by me to receive the emptiness needed for the new to begin again. ”
“Thank you oh wise one of old – you have great wisdom! I understand. ”
I see the sun off in the distance and call to it – “What are you here to say?”
“I am the happy joy that comes from the increase in confidence that comes from the new start – from the release from the prison of the past. I am the confidence arising in you which gives you the excitement, the passion and the courage to move forward with your plans however ambitious they may be. As the new day dawns I warm and nurture you and shed light on what was in the dark, helping you see the pathway ahead of you more and more clearly. ”
“Thank you too – you all have had so much to say to me...”
“What would be the reversed meaning then?” I ask.
“ Well...” Says the stones, “We would be ignored and turned away from – there is no surrender to the deeper parts – there is only rushing around and trying lots of things aimlessly, no grounding.”
The wand says – “focus is lacking, there is passion but it is brief and burns out easily – the person is not acknowledging that there is a need for stillness within creativity and action to aim the arrow in the direction that will hit the target. It is almost as if there is no goal only and avoidance of the truth.”
The Grass adds “The person may also experience burning out – tiredness emotionally and also in their ability to hold themselves up confidently.”
“A lack of confidence may be coming. ” Says the sun,
“But the way to take the healing from this” adds the wand “ is to surrender and know that something needs to change – it is time to visit the stones and sit in silence until there is a focused single goal to be working towards. Look at the essences of what you and and also the the limitations you have to work within for one indication is that the limitations are not being acknowledged as part of what is necessary to create you highest goal at this time – rather they are seen as the enemy and the energy and passion you have is used up in fighting them rather than embracing their gifts. ”

I turn and leave and feel I have gained some very relevant information for my life at the moment, it is a much richer card than I expected too.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication.
